November 2007Stanburys develop a new EMIS Module, with QinetiQ Estates, to manage budget forecasts, where separate charges can be applied to any identified location within the property portfolio. Although this module is bespoke to the QinetiQ Estates current budget structure, it can, nevertheless, be modified for use for future clients, if required. October 2007Stanburys work with English Heritage to provide scanned 3D images of the 13th Century 'Knights Templar' man-made cavern, in Royston, Herts. June 2006Stanburys were appointed by QinetiQ Estates to populate the EMIS.BIZ® asbestos risk module (ARM) with all known asbestos information for their sites at Malvern and Farnborough, circa 200 buildings. The resulting asbestos register is used to regularly inspect all asbestos managed on these sites. May 2006Stanburys are to open offices in both Boston, USA and Croatia for the development of EMIS, especially for the FM and 3D Asset Management Market.

Stanburys solution for monitoring and managing asbestos containing materials has been selected by ISSL Limited. ISSL are part of the infrastructure stewardship companies, of London Underground Ltd. and are responsible for the Circle, District, Metropolitan, Hammersmith & City and East London lines. Stanburys powerful asbestos management solution is also being used by Defence Estates.
Stanburys Ltd. are welcomed by the British Institute of Facilities Management as Full Corporate Members.
Stanburys have achieved full Oracle® partner status. Stanburys had already joined the Microsoft® Certified Partner programme earlier.
Stanburys win the British Institute of Facilities Management Award for Innovation.
Stanburys win two Defence Estate Awards.
Stanburys have been focusing on implementing an estate
management system at the Defence Evaluation Research Agency (DERA). This
system, known as EMIS, has been highly praised and was recently named the
outright current winner in the Defence Estates Percy Thomas Awards for
Excellence 2001. The EMIS solution for DERA also won the Category Main Award
for Smarter Usage.
The 2001 awards were announced at the Defence Estates Customer Conference on the 13th June 2001. This Conference is intended for the Defence Estates Business Unit internal customers, and is attended by Estates Directors of the Agencies and Armed Forces.
This prestigious event was opened by Ian Andrews, Chief Executive of Defence Estates, with a keynote speech by Kevin R Tebbit, CMG Permanent Under Secretary of State for Defence.
The awards were announced by Andrew Summers CMG (Chief Executive of the Design
Council) and presentations were made by Dr Lewis Moonie MP (Parliamentary Under
Secretary of State for Defence). Andrew Summers said that "the judges had no
hesitation in unanimously declaring the EMIS project as outright winners".
